Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and service‑minded team member to support our laundry and linen operations while delivering friendly, professional service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous, helpful, and professional service in every interaction.
- Load clean linens onto the company truck and deliver them to hotels according to the assigned schedule.
- Collect soiled linens from hotels and return them to the laundry facility on time.
- Support daily laundry operations, including:
- Sorting, washing, drying, and folding laundry items
- Folding towels, bathrobes, and preparing caddies for distribution
- Maintain an accurate logbook of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and other required details.
- Clean and care for the laundry truck:
- Interior cleaning on a daily basis
- Exterior cleaning on a weekly basis
- Report any mechanical or safety issues promptly
- Drive safely at all times, following traffic regulations and company standards for parking and vehicle use.
- Handle clean and dirty linens carefully, following hygiene, safety, and storage procedures.
- Demonstrate and uphold the company’s Yes I Can! attitude, code of ethics, and departmental policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Qatar driver’s license.
- Previous experience in driving and/or working in a laundry environment is an advantage.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift, move, and handle heavy laundry bags and trolleys.
- Strong punctuality and time management skills.
- Reliable, honest, and committed to high work standards.
- Basic understanding of laundry processes (washing, drying, folding) is preferred.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude with colleagues and hotel teams.
- Able to follow instructions and work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Awareness of safety and hygiene requirements when handling linens and using equipment.
